    Hello!

My site is a marketplace for services, so the “vendors” do not need to post any products, they just need to sign up as vendors, and the rest of the site takes care in associating that user with a bookable product in the back end.

    Ok, so problem:

In initial stages of the site, I was using WC Vendors Free, and the sign up + ‘apply to become a vendor’ were working fine, user applying had the vendor role assigned to them.

However I wanted the PRO Dashboard, and also to “connect” it to WooCommerce Bookings, which is repsonsible for all bookings on my site, so I had to get the PRO.

However when signing up, even if you do click “apply to become a vendor”, you still get assigned a customer role.

I see that if I type in URL fro the Free version’s dashboard – https://www.mysite/vendor_dashboard/ – I tick that box and become a vendor.

But having the PRO I automatically get directed to the PRO dashboard – https://www.mysite/dashboard/ – and that does not create a vendor role.

Anyone know how to get around this?
    Thanks!
