I have a great url name for an inner page for a new site. I do realize now that it would be nice, maybe to add my city at the end of the url.

I just did a test, and Yoast added it ok, and it seems that the old url, without the city at end forward to the new url.

    example url was
    website.com/shoes
    changed the slug to website.com/shoes/la

so from the homepage, now everyone will go to:
    website.com/shoes/la Great.

What is happening then? curious. Does my theme keep the old url and do a 301 redirect to the new urL website.com/shoes goes to website.com/shoes/la

Which is the current real url? Or is there a real url? are they both equally the valid one?

    Hope that made sense!

Actually went back to the site and the link that goes to the original still goes to the original, but the the slug version with city goes there to. and Yoast is saying that for Google it will show the city version.. So I guess in a way you have both simultaneously?
