BP xProfile Location + BP Profile Search

I can confirm that BP Profile Search will search the location field as a normal text field, without autocomplete, as explained by @shanebp in his reply.

Thank you @dontdream. Do you agree that for common users it will be hard to understand the process? For them, it will be easier to search, if they can see google autocomplete of location.

Even if this plugin is free, I always appreciate feedback from users, and I try to improve the software based on their needs.

Your suggestion is now in my to-do list. Although I’m not able to implement it quickly, I’m not going to forget it.

Agree, I will happily pay for this simple feature. Please develop it. Happy to offer any support or feedback and to be a beta tester if need be.

The only other option on market for geo-locate input for the profile searcher is Geo my wordpress. It which requires far too much backend work for this one ‘geo locate’ attribute. Their templates do not sync with themes either, which must be custom coded.

And, it really does not sync well for BP members creating profiles, as the ‘register process’ does not integrate with of GWP unless hard coded.

So – big opportunity to be the only plugin (to my knowledge) which offers BP profile synced location fields for the profile creator PLUS for the profile searcher.

I outline this to hopefully have more forum observers concur and +1 this vote
