images/buttons not hyperlinking on portfolio

Hi,

I am uploading images to my portfolio. When I publish and then view normally, the buttons have gone, and the images don’t hyperlink to the URL pasted. The cursor changes as you hover over the image, suggesting there is a link, but nothing happens.

Any ideas on how to overcome this?
