• When theres more than one page of images and an image is selected on a page, the number count only shows the image number of the selected image and the total number of images on that page. For example if the gallery has 40 images and there are 2 pages of images with 20 images per page, then image 2 is selected on page 1. The image count under that image says ‘2 of 20’. 2 representing the image number on that page and 20 representing the number of images on that page. Is there a way of making the image count say ‘2 of 40’, where 2 is the number of the image selected and 40 representing the total images in the gallery?

Can you please let me know what lightbox are you currently using for that specific gallery?

    Thanks in advance,

    Thanks for your reply ??

NextGen Gallery ( free version ) supports few lightbox types. You can check which one you are currently using from “Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects -> What effect would you like to use?”

    Please let us know,
    Mihai

    Hi,
I have tried all of the lightbox effects, but the problem is still there.

    Thanks

@mobideas – We’d like to take a closer look at the lightbox count issue you’re seeing. We may need to temporarily deactivate plugins and switch the theme while troubleshooting. Would you feel OK with that? If so, please send us a bug report here: https://www.imagely.com/report-bug , refer back to this forum thread, and let them know Becky referred you. ??

    Thanks!

Hi, I haven’t received any further feedback on this issue. Is this ticket still open?
    Thank you

    Hi @mobideas,

I am sorry. It looks like I have missed the main idea from your question.
Unfortunately, this isn’t something that may be changed and I am not very sure if we’ll want to change the way how the image’s counter works.

The main reason is that in case you had the counter say 1 of 1000, but only show 20 per page – the visitor wouldn’t know when to change to the next paginated page.

    Hope for your understanding,
    Mihai

Hi Mihai, is there a different gallery that we can use?
Other plugins seem to have this functions and as we have done so much work already with yours, it would be great not to have to change plugins.
