Trying to get rid of subdomain on URL

I have inherited a site that I myself didn’t set up. It uses WordPress but it’s hosted elsewhere. Currently, the url is blog.example.com. I would like it to be just example.com. When you type in example.com, it redirects to blog.example.com. How would I go about doing this? Thanks in advance.
