very nice looking slide show, but the software doesn’t work all the time

  • it has happened now for quite some time that I can’t get to the photo’s or cannot edit anything.

    Thank you for your review and sorry to hear you experience an intermittent problem.

    What happens when the problem occurs? Do you see a blank page when you go to Slideshow > Manage Slides or? Can you please turn on debugging under Slideshow > Configuration on the right-hand side and save the settings then access that section/page again to see if you can see a PHP error?

    The debugging was already on, but I switched it off and on again with an in between saving of the settings. The problem still apears. This is the information:

    I cannot paste the screenshot but it only states the error above and is furtheron totally white.

    Ah, the plugin uses PHP short array syntax which requires PHP 5.4+ and due to that error I assume that you are running an older version of PHP.

    Can you please ask your hosting provider if they can upgrade PHP for you?
