Directory doesn’t search nickname, only first/last

  • I have a member directory showing all members with a certain role. Since there are a lot of members I’ve added the search form, but it seem to only search the First and Last name fields. For instance, searching for “webb” gives no result, even though I’ve got a user with “Wimell Webb” as nickname and display name. but searching just wimell gives a result, since that is my last name.

    Isn’t the search form supposed to search nicknames?

    Ok, a direct follow up. My theory seem to be false, and It seem to be very random with it’s search results. For example there’s no results for “Bronner” even though there is a user with last name Bronner.

    Thanks for reporting the issue, I’m not sure why this is happening. When I first introduced the feature I did multiple tests in different combinations and it was working correctly at the time, probably something has gone wrong recently. I’ll investigate the issue and release a fix as soon as possible.
