    I can’t seem to remove the “Powered by wordpress” from the twentyseventeen theme. I can add a second footer note, but the powered by wordpress just stays there too.

    To remove that text please add this code in Step 1:

    <div class="site-info">
		<a href="https://www.ads-software.com/" class="imprint">
		Proudly powered by WordPress	</a>
</div><!-- .site-info -->

    Leave step 2 empty in order to remove it.
