Your site is loading and also the home page is working. Can you please elaborate the issue. If possible please provide the screenshot of the issue.

it is working becaue I created a new home page and setted as static. But I can’t see the fetured setting of the imported theme. Neither the post slider nor the latest posts. Should I customize my page from the beggining?

Did you install all the necessary plugin before the importing demo content?

Go to dashboard > settings > reading and set your page as post page. Leave static page field blank.

Yes I did install all the settings and it was working until I made customizations, I’m afraid that I delided something. I changed it to post page but I still can’t see the slider.

Go to dashboard > post slider > copy the shortcode if exist there.

Go to page > select your home page and click on edit link. Edit page > oceanwp setting > shortcode and add the copied shortcode in ‘after the header field’.

I can’t find the Home page although it appears on the menu(as custom link). The reason I created a new home page was to paste the shortcode, but didn’t work

hello, go to Dashboard > Pages and you will see which page is set as your post page. You can also check it by navigating to the dashboard > settings > reading and check which page is set as your post page (In your website, your post page is your home page).

ok done, I changed post page.I setted the one I created and I had to change it into static page.But despite I pasted the shortcode to the page settings I still can’t see the slider. Is there a chance I deleted the defaulted homepage?

Hello, I can’t say anything without seeing your dashboard. Check post slider setting once again, copy the shortcode and paste ince more time in the oceanwp setting > shortcode tab of your home page. Did your post slider work in preview mode?

I tried it again as you said but nothing changed. Yes it worked until I deleted the imported theme’s posts&pages and kept only mine. That’s why I’m afraid I deleted something that I shouldn’t. Is there anything I can to do to help you understand better the situation? Maybe screenshot?

Okay, please send the screenshot of the post slider setting, oceanwp setting for shortcode of your home page, pages, and dashboard > settings > reading page.
