login does not redirect and content is still blocked

For example, when the user tries to login, the login redirection no longer works and the restricted content is still blocked.

This seems like you’re getting logged in, but not getting correct content. That would tend to indicate a cache issue. Look at whether you are using a cache plugin and if it is properly configured. Check with your host to find out if you are using a server-side cache known as Varnish.

This same thing is happening to me.

It’s been working fine, all the sudden it won’t redirect.

I’ve tried EVERYTHING, recreated test pages, etc. It just goes to the log in page and won’t redirect after log in.

My problem is similar- but not the same. WP members was fine but suddenly has barged itself onto the front page of the website. When the site is accessed, all they see is the registration page instead of the usual info that should be available to all.

In Pages, I have the option to ‘unblock’ the front page bu as soon as I ‘update’ it goes back to being blocked.

WP everything was chosen as I am only a volunteer with basic knowledge and understanding of how to manage the website. Any help would be really appreciated.
