• In last 3 days I’ve spent over 14 hours (+4 plugins / over 70 links) in order to get help and succeed in activating (including) some comments to my pages in my WP (made) site.

    Many times I’ve (re)activated:
    1) Settings > Discussion settings: “[ ]Allow people to post comments on new articles”
    2) Screen Option > “[ ] Discussion” & [ ] Comments / “Allow Comments”
    3) Allow people to post comments on new articles

Also, I have deactivated all plugins .. Even deleted all cash (from browser).

Why (even) WP (implicit) Comments – is not working?

    Then I’ve tried with (installing):
    a) Disqus Comment System
    b) Comments – wpDiscuz
    c) and other 2

In various forums similar reported problems – had old and/or not clear enough solutions.

Please help: I’ve recently moved to WP and created a new site. Over (other) 10 plugins – worked well.

I assume that I am skipping something very simple / obvious ..

This is a site page to which I try to add Comments (from WP core or via any other plugins) https://snagov.ro/centre/centru-biodiversitate/

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • There should be no need to use any other plugin then the native code of WP comment. Make sure you have everything enabled in wp-admin/options-discussion/ that you need then go to a post and see if the form is there.

The only reason it would not be there is because someone edited that out of the theme.

    Thank you Stef.

Tomorrow morning I will re-check (with fresh mind & eyes)

    1) I have tripe re-checked … all what should matter (3-4 items)
    2) I have not edited / changed the template …
    3) I have uninstalled all plugins, cleared the cache (Chrome browser)
    4) (re)installer few more sophisticated plugin for Comments and searched in (theirs) forums – why not visible .. a.s.o

Yes, there should be something on the very root (maybe I did something) ..
I was hopping – to be something obvious with the details I have presented

So, I have found the problem: It is created by one option of Elementor.
I intend to write to them.

So, is not due to WP (core) or WP Comments aso.

Thank you (all) very much for your time / assistance.
