Account approved email

Hi there,
For some reason the account approved email does not go out when I approve a new member. I have made sure that under ultimate member settings–> email tab, I have activated the “Account Approved Email” setting, and drafted an subject line and message body.
I have also activated “Require admin review” under registration options in User roles.
So although the new member is approved and can log in, no email is going out saying their account has been approved.
Do let me know if you have any suggestions to sort out this issue.
