    Hi:

I was wondering if LMSLifter makes it easy and possible to build courses on a local environment (as a plugin or within your theme) after which everything can be migrated online through all-in-one migration let’s say, or would there be some issues doing that.

I don’t see why not but I prefer asking.

    Thanks,

    Guy

  • @gaille2000,

I urge people to develop things offline. It’s faster and getting in the habit of working on a local / staging site is great once you launch your course.

With a DB migration tool you won’t run into any issues migrating. If you do, contact the migration plugin! LifterLMS works entirely within the WordPress API so if the plugin migrates WP databases you won’t have any issues from our side!

My guide to testing / staging sites recommends all-in-one migration: https://lifterlms.com/docs/staging/

My personal workflow relies on WP Migrate DB Pro though.

    Best,
