Utter Crap – Totally Useless (Zero Stars)

Dave, you should understand that your rating/review is disrespectful to an entire community of developers and ironically is zero worth, as you haven’t shared any feedback at all, just whining.

Try to calm down and share more thoughts about what you don’t like about it and what you’d improve. The old editor will stay in the form of a Classic block eg: https://d.pr/v/mAP4Hh . It’ll be this simply to keep the editor and tons of other cool features.

mhogas, you should understand how condescending your reply is. dave94’s comment is not disrespectful or of zero worth. What is of zero worth is people leaving negative comments about this as the developers leave the same stock replies and are basically ignoring the negative comments. Meanwhile it looks as though we are going to be stuck with this horrible editor as the developers are going full steam ahead to implement this even as the wheels are already falling off. If you think people are being negative now just wait until those who are unaware of this ‘innovation’ are suddenly stuck with. That’s when the sh!tstorm will really start.

Sorry but i don’t find my reply condescending at all. You should understand that rating a functional product 0 stars and calling it crap is disrespectful. This is the exact reason why for so long i chose to avoid posting free plugins here and instead sell them on various marketplaces.

Anyway, i genuinely believe Gutenberg will be a success. It’s just a matter of time until people actually see the opportunities it gives to developers and users.

This review looks like it may be a little derailed. A couple of points I’d like to make before putting this train back on its tracks are:

• Star ratings don’t matter. Feedback is the key thing and that’s what we’re looking for. By all means, we encourage 1 star ratings because generally reflect the most valuable experience.
• Reviews on www.ads-software.com encourage discussion about the review – in a constructive manner. This means that if someone had a bad experience, someone else can help them with their experience. The reviews are not for citing other people’s reviews or using them as a soapbox for your own opinions on Gutenberg.

Now, @dave94, Can you tell us a little bit more about the problems you faced? The more detail you can provide, the more likely we are to help. Afterall, you have taken the time to try this plugin and we are very grateful for that.
