Missing Works Content

  • I have a portfolio website, and all of the content for my works pages is gone. There should be images, text, and some videos but nothing is showing anymore. Someone said that ‘due to the website builder I’m using,the images are not showing properly.’ I dont know what this really means. Does anyone have any advice? It also isn’t showing me the history of revisions to the pages, its as if the page has been completely wiped. The beginning of pages are there, but the following information on the works is all gone. Is it completely wiped? DO I have to redo everything?

    When I visit the site, I see three things. Is that not how it should look? I’m guessing the theme was custom, correct? If so, have you tried reaching out to the person who created that?

    I would split your question into two parts for the ease of your understanding-

    1. All of the content for my works pages is gone.
    Can you please try adding format support to your custom theme pages for the images to be displayed?

    Do you mean the Revisions menu is hidden from the layout or the previous revisions are not listed anymore? For the former issue, please click on ‘Screen Options’ located at the top right corner of your Edit Page screen and check the Revisions box. This will list out all your previous page revisions at the bottom of the page under the Revisions section.

    Do you know WordPress autosaves all your updates on a page with each passing minute? ??

    Hi,

    The beginning page is correct — it is the individual works (ex. https://www.zainislamhashmi.archi/?works=water-lab) All of my projects used to include images, text, and videos but now they have all been wiped.

    I have not tried, but want to make sure there is nothing I can do until I contact them.

    Can you take a screenshot of your dashboard menu? Just something like:

    You can use a service like Cloudup or imgr.com to upload and share the link. ??
