Best Way To Update File(s) In 1 Area That Updates Entire Website

    Any and all help is sincerely appreciated.

    GOAL:
    -1 file gets updated monthly on website
    -this file is available on many pages of the website
    -best route to update this file in 1 area and have it update all areas of the website

    CURRENT SETUP:
    -we do a massive search/replace for the URL of the file to download
    -too complicated for client to use on their own

    I know there are some download file managers but I was trying to see the BEST route to accomplish this. Thank you for any insights and your time.
