Category descriptions under categories on shop page

    I would like to show the category descriptions for each category on the shop page under each category. How can I do that? I’ve been Googling for a snippet but can’t find anything. Is it possible? Thanks!

    EDIT: I’m using the Storefront theme. I would also like to have them not display on the category pages themselves. I suppose I can do that with CSS though.
