    Hi there,

    Thanks for this great plugin.
I made a website on a testing server and today I was ready for migration.
I did my package and installed on the new server, everything went fine to this stage.

Once on the new fresh copy installed on the final server, I get some issues :

    – I’m using Hestia theme with a child theme.
    — After migration, my theme was reseted to default settings. I mean, the child theme, the active one.

    – I use some emoticons on my wordpress pages. I just copy paste them from this website. Then from the WP page editor, I can see them either from visual or text editing.
    — After migration, they were all replaced by a “?”.

    – My WordPress was “https”.
    — After migration, it was “http”.
For this one I might have forgotten to write it somewhere during the install process. Not a big issue anyway.

I hope everything is ok on the db side. I didn’t took time to check every permission of every tables. Just crossing fingers.

Is it possible to get the migration of the theme’s settings ?
And is it possible to keep the emoticons in the text ?

  • Hey @gingerbooch,

You might check the installer-log.txt for errors (please do not paste the full log here), it could be that your database on the new site is older than where the package was made.

    Thanks~

    Hi @corylamleorg,

Thanks for your help, I will try this next weekend.
I also took a look on your FAQ and found interesting answers about both emojis and theme compatibility, I will check all of this and try again.

Sounds good! Thxs for the update…
