1. Version of WordPress 4.9.8, Woocommerce 3.4.4, Weight based Shipping Version 5.2.1, PHP 5.6.38?
2. i) shipping zone screen shots -https://imgur.com/a/qvjUGGf ii) weight based shipping zone for Portugal – https://imgur.com/a/aCBVhVe
3. Details of testing product : 500mL Prata Ativa, Flat Rate 500mL (Portugal) shipping zone, 760g total weight, Order subtotal €30.00, shipping destination is Portugal. Put in address Quinta do Romao, Lote G5, 8125-301, Quarteira, Portugal
4. I am expecting shipping option for 500mL bottle (Portugal)
5. I am getting the full list of shipping options which I don’t want to see, it is confusing for the customer.

I want to see just one shipping option selected for the correct product. So, for the 500mL bottle, should be the shipping option 500mL for Portugal being selected.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello,

Thank you for the details.

As per the case you described, I expect no shipping options to be shown at all, since you don’t have any shipping rule to catch a 760g order. What might be happening here is that you have an other set of shipping rules active and producing the shipping option you see. Please try disabling all the shipping rules from the screenshot to check if you actually see them in action.

Another thing to note, is that I believe you want to change Order Weight conditions of your rules to match your current weight unit, which is gram. I think you need the ‘500 mL bottle’ rule activating on orders of 500-1000 grams, not 0.5-1.0 grams as it’s set on the screenshot.

I have already disabled all the shipping rules and left only the weight-based shipping rules. It shill produces the same results. Can’t you login and do some tests and let me know what’s going on?

I just want it to display the correct shipping options, instead of a long list of shipping options confusing the customers. I thought installing your plugin will solve this issue (after I have disabled the shipping zones), but it is still doing it. So, I don’t know what it is going on. Do you know why it is showing all these shipping options? I have done it for Canada & US, where it is disabled in the shipping zone, but only active for weight-based shipping. But it is still showin all the options from weight based when it should only display one option for the correct weight of the products.

That’s what the plugin for. And the configuration from your screenshot should be working as you expect it.

I suspect that you have another set of shipping rules active in an other shipping zone or in the global WBS shipping method. To check that, please try deactivating the rule on your screenshot, and check if you still see the shipping options.

Hi Dan,

I deactivated the shipping zone.

I left your plugin settings on.

I made a test purchase, and this is the result.

It looks like the weight base shipping settings I have set up is not even being read properly. Can you login and see what I did wrong?

I have turned off the shipping zone to show you the test sample sale. But I have to turn back on the shipping zone, for my customers to be able to buy. So when you are logging in, you will see that the shipping zone has been re-activated.

But it maybe that I have set up the weight base shipping incorrectly, because it is not reading it, when I do the test purchase.

Ok, now we are getting somewhere.

First thing to note is that the Flat Rate and Free Shipping options on the screenshot are neither related nor controlled by Weight Based Shipping. That’s a completely separate thing.

As of WBS, you don’t see any WBS shipping options since your shipping rules are set up with a wrong weight unit in mind, as I mentioned above. Just look to them again, for example ‘1000mL bottle’ has Order Weight set to 1-1.5 grams, not kilograms. I believe you don’t have items weighting as low as 1.5 grams.

Hi,

So you’re telling me, everything needs to be set in kilogram for your WBS to work properly?

Hi,

I’ve corrected the settings. Everything works like it should! Yay!!!! yah!! Thanks for the help!! I’m over the moon right now.

Here is what the result looks like for Portugal.

Here is what the result looks like for Canada.

This is what I was looking for, just one final calculation of the cost, not a long list of options for people to choose from.

Hi,

What do I need to do to set FREE SHIPPING if they buy over a certain amount of Euros?

Hi,

I would like to change this default message on the shipping.

Where can I change this text? I don’t see it anywhere in the settings area.

Thank you.

Glad we’ve made progress.

You can change the no-shipping-methods message with the WooCommerce No Shipping Message plugin.

To show a free shipping option, add a rule with Order Subtotal set to ‘above X euros’ and empty Base Cost and Weight Rate. To hide other WBS shipping options for the case, add Order Subtotal ‘below or equal X euros’ to all your other shipping rules.
