    Hi,
I’ve started getting this error about a month or so ago – with Buffer basically rejecting all of my articles.
The strange thing is that the featured image on that article (and on most others is super old):
    https://www.baeldung.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/social-Java-On-Baeldung-2.jpg

That has worked many many times, and it has no invalid characters (that I can see).
So, I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong on my end, or if this is a problem in the plugin, or maybe with Buffer.

Does that look in any way familiar?
    Thanks,
    Eugen.

    Hi,

We’d need access to the environment in question to further debug, as there are no reported issues with the plugin or Buffer in relation to this specific problem.

Feel free to raise a request at https://www.wpzinc.com/support

    Thanks.

The cause of this was established to be a third party plugin which was replacing WordPress default functions absolute URLs with relative URLs.

As a result, Pages, Posts and Attachment URLs were missing the full domain, resulting in Buffer not having a full, absolute URL from which to pull the image from.
