• Great plugin except that some customers email me and tell me they never received their product download email. This happens about 3 out of 5 times.

    I get notifications from wordpress and paypal that the payment was successful. I also checked the debug log and it always says “IPN successfully verified” and “Product download email sent successfully” so I’m not sure what the problem is.

    Any ideas?

    Do you know if the e-mail is landing in the spam box?

    Forgot to respond to this. The emails weren’t in spam folder. They seem to only happen to users who have a gmail or hotmail email accounts.

    @ontemp, so that means your issue is resolved. Unfortunately our plugin does not control if the e-mail lands in the inbox or spam folder.

    What do you mean? Those users aren’t getting the email at all. How is that resolved? I think you read it wrong. Gmail and hotmail users do not receive the download email at all. It’s neither in their spam or inbox folder.

    My apologies. In some cases it is related to a sever issue. You might need to use an SMTP plugin. Give this a try, let me know if it works for you as well.
