Deleting everything but the installation

    I have a host where i’m running a wordpress website at. I want to change it to something completely differet. What is the best way to remove ALL the content and leave only the wordpress installation?

  • Do you have access to PHPmyadmin (or at least access to doing it through command line)?

    Honestly, I usually prefer to do clean installs but if you want, yes, you can do this. Simply export the current database for backup purposes. You can then have all the tables get emptied and start anew

    Delete the plugins&themes u installed, delete/empty the mysql database that wp used and delete all the uploaded files.

    or just delete EVERYTHING, and download WP again and install it.
