Total Visitors count decreasing daily

  • Each day I find that the total number of visits for all time is lower than the day before. How is this possible when I have 2500+ visits every day? Something weird is going on. Also, I have zero visits showing before Aug 2, 2018, but my site has been up and active since 2008. Running plugin v12.4.3 on WP 4.9.8

    This problem is continuing – every day my total visits number is lower than the day before despite having some thousands of visits during the day. Is the total visits number a rolling average or something? What is going on? This is driving me crazy!
