I am using the Ocean Extra plugin and am setting some header images. Just they are all messed up. Sometimes there is no image, and rarely it is showing the image it is supposed to. Many times loading an image it repeats on all other pages. Something quite weird is happening, and just with the header images. Any clue what it could be? On my development server, it was sometimes not showing the images, especially on Chrome, but for the rest it showed the correct images all the time. Any clues I would be grateful.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Remove your image and upload again. Currently, It is appearing from the localhost environment.

Yes, I see that the All in One WP Migration Plugin did not change all the links. But I tried in some pages to upload the header again, and no success. Look for example at:

    Hello,

I didn’t see any image on this page.
Go to customize > general options > page title and upload an image. Try to clear cache or use a different browser to check the site.

I’ve been having this same issue on two separate sites. The first site got messed up so badly after I tried to add custom page titles that I had to start my website again from scratch and use Elementor to do the titles.

Now I made the mistake of adding the page title to the Blog page since you cannot do it with Elementor on this page and it has literally screwed up my entire site! I deactivated all plugins except Elementor Pro and the problem went away. As I slowly reactivated plugins, the only one that messed up the site again was Ocean Extras.

My entire blog page is completely messed up now (there is no style or layout being applied to the page at the moment), my custom CSS from the Theme Settings are no longer being read, my custom fonts uploaded to Elementor Pro are no longer working.

And this all started after I stupidly tried to add that custom page title to the blog page. ??

For my site it mysteriously started to work after adding a new page with a header image. Now I have a test site up which still does not work right, if anybody from tech support wants to have a deeper look into that.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
