Different Notifications for Post Author and others

    Hello,

    I have your plugin configured to send to the original post author and a specific user. I formatted the content for the email notifications using your shortcodes. The email to the specific user looks as expected, however the email to the post author doesn’t match and looks like a general WordPress email. Is there a way for the email that goes to the post author to be from your plugin, and match or use the custom email notification I created?

    Hi @kld53,
    Thanks for your message.

    As this functionality isn’t present in WordPress, the notification should be formatted as you’ve set it up in BNFW but it sounds as if another plugin is overriding the notification.
    Can you check to see if any other plugins might be causing this issue?

    Thank you. I’ll look into this and see if I can find another plugin that could be sending the author notification.
