These or any changes I make to this single.php file will not display on the my blog birdbreath.com/blog

There are only 2 files called single.php – one in default and one in Jill WhiteClear 1.0 by Patrick Chia, which I am defaulted to.

Any ideas why it will not display any changes?

    Thanks!

    Robert

  • if editing in the theme editor – your server may not be allowing it to be saved at current chmod of 644
chmod file to 666 and try it
be sure and chmod to 644 when done

I’ll check ethe permissions. The new changes are there, but the page is displaying the old single.php. Why would it display the old file?

Is there a cache reset on WordPress?

Problem (almost) fixed. The single.php functions were being handled in the index.php file.

    Thanks for your help.
