uploading image or picture

  • I cannot upload images or pictures. When I try, this is the error message that I get: “unable to create directory/home/nich/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2009/05.” What do I need to do. I am using the DIY Thesis theme template.

  • Did you check your ftp CHMOD settings?
    The directory should be writable. Only then any software can create a folder in your server.

    Open up your FTP program, right click on the “/uploads” folder and look for an option called “CHMOD or Permissions” and make sure it says 775.

    Look on google if you’re new to this ??
