Delete User/subscriber

  • I am new to the wordpress world and its interface. I have a user who registered for our blog sometime ago and now wants her account deleted. I know how to do this in previous versions of wordpress, which I noticed is quite similar to this new version. The problem I am having is that when I go to Authors & Users, there are no users/subscribers listed there. The only individuals I see listed here are admin, authors, and editors. Where can I go to delete this user’s registered account?

  • That is where you look. Perhaps she is mistaken that she registered.

    She is forwarding the messages received to me. She is still receiving notifications that there are new comments posted and she no longer wants them. Since I am looking in the right place, why do registered users not appear in this list?

    WordPress out of the box does not send notifications of new comments posted to anyone besides the site admin. Perhaps you have a subscribe to comments plugin installed. This would be keeping its own list, and would have its own admin page on which the subscribers could be managed. Check around in the admin area.
