Conversions not appearing in Adwords

    I have the plugin configured exactly as the instructional video shows. I’ve had several orders come through on my site in the past 3 days, including a test order that I made, and on the conversions page in adwords it still says “No recent conversions”. I’m wondering if it may not be working due to me using a child theme? Does this plugin instruct code to be written to header.php? or another file? I’m also wondering if my WP All-in-one Security plugin might be preventing your plugin from executing the code on the thank you/checkout page. Any ideas? This seems like a simple enough plugin but for some reason adwords shows no conversions.

    A properly developed child theme will not cause issues. Actually, it’s even hard to mess it up, but not impossible.

    Yes.

    It injects code into the header and footer using the WordPress hooks. Unless the theme or child theme mess the hooks up, all works properly.

    Probably not.

    Any ideas?

    The most common issues are:

    You haven’t logged out of the shop to conduct the test. The pixel is not injected for logged in admins and shop managers.

    You haven’t clicked on your ad before checking out.

    Sometime it can take up to 48 hours for the conversion to appear. (Though it usually pops up within an hour).

    Many first time advertisers think running Google Ads will immediately generate sales. Unfortunately it is not so easy and often actual sales are coming from other channels.
