Child Themes in the Directory

I’ve created a Child Theme based upon a Theme Framework, and would like to know if these themes are supported in the WordPress Themes Directory? I tried to upload it, and it said I needed Gravatar support, but because I created a child theme, it only has a CSS file, and no edited theme files.
