contact form 7 sending email regardless of whether checkbox is checked

    Hi
    After adding [mc4wp_checkbox] shortcode to the given form I can trigger email/subscription regardless of whether it is checked. I would prefer the email to be sent with checkbox checked only. Is it possible ? If so, how ?

    Can you please share with us a link to the page where we can test the CF7 form? Also, are you using any other plugins or CF7 addons to subscribe users to MailChimp?
