Want to show user details form before start chat

Hello. I’m also researching about this function, but I have not found how to do it.

I know this isn’t 100% what you want but it’s a cool trick I figured out to show user emails and names if they’re logged in to wordpress.

In your admin panel, navigate to Watson Assistant > Advanced features > Context Variables TAB | Fill out all the details you’d like.

Then add this to the end of your IBM greeting message:
<!– $email, $fname $lname –>

Since the line is set as a comment, front end users don’t see it but you will when you read the history.

You’ll be able to see their email and name when they’re logged in but they won’t see it in their chat. I hope the image helps. If you have any specific questions on something you don’t understand, let me know.

Could you, please, clarify, if you’d like to display current (signed in) user name/email in the chatbot greeting, or you’d like to ask user to enter ones?
