reSmush.it processed half of all images, but then stopped

  • Hi,

    I installed reSmush.it and it seemed to work for half of all images. Then it stopped and it won’t continue.

    Checking the reSmush.it log shows this:

    In the wordpress error log there are some warnings and notices:

    
PHP Warning:  filesize(): stat failed .....
PHP Notice:  Undefined index: file in......
PHP Notice:  Undefined index: sizes.......

    Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

    Hi Andreyuv,

    Thanks for using our plugin ??
    This error is common when you have a picture declared in your WP website, but that the corresponding file is missing (like we said in https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/warning-filesize-stat-failed-for-url/)

    Try to find the problematic files and delete thoses references, it should run better ??

    Thanks for the reply.

    I used the Media Cleaner plugin to remove media entries where the files are missing.

    But now reSmush.it gets stuck in the “Examining existing attachments. This may take a few moments…” phase.

    I checked the WordPress error log and there are no more entries related to reSmush.it.
    There are no errors in the browser console.
    The reSmush.it log shows only this:

    And then the log stops. I guess there must be a problem with that particular file, but there’s nothing else in the logs…
