How to migrate my customized wordpress site from localhost to prod server?

Hi,

I configured and customized the templates and some plug-ins (cforms) in wordpress on my local machine (localhost). I then ftp’ed the code to my production server and exported the database (as a sql file) and imported on my prod server. I changed the DB settings in wp-config.php to production.

A lot of links (e.g. post URLs, plug-in configuration, etc.) in my DB are pointing to localhost, so my site doesn’t work

-> What do i need to update in my code files (and DB), to migrate completely to production environment? Doing a fresh install of wordpress and the plug-ins and templates would mean hours of work, re-configuring and re-customizing my changes.
