    Hi,
I always check Google Search Console for making sure that everything in my site is fine. I decided to install the SEO redirection plugin for improving SEO and suddendly I started noticing that broken links in search console increased and I had to start redirecting 400+ broken links per day. Tired and after checking for the cause to this problem, I decided to check my site′s DB and the SEO Redirection DB had 45.000 broken links similar to the ones I had previously noticed in Search Console. And the nicest thing is that everytime I used the SEO plugin to perform the redirections, it invited me to buy the Premium version to get rid of the 45.000 broken links!!! There are two main reasons for this problem:

    1. The plugin wanted me to buy its premium version adding crap to my site
    2. the plugin’s security is crap and someone added the broken links there intentionally.

    Dear sir,
first of all, thank you for using our plugin,
Let me clarify some things for you,
The plugin is free and you can use it as redirection plugin with many feature, and it’s working fine with more than 50,000 user! Now, if you want to use additional features like fixing the broken links, then you will need to buy our premium version to include this features (there is two developers working on developing this plugin and for sure this will cost us, so we don’t offer it for free), like the other plugins on the wordpress store.

Regarding the second point, please note that we don’t add any broken links to your site (you can ask any developer to check our plugin code), the plugin store the broken links because when you decide to buy the premium version, you will need to fix this links! so we save it inside your database (we don’t generate it!!)

Finally, we are sorry for any inconvenience cause to you, we will be happy to contact you using our email [redacted] to discuss this with you, and you will be happy

    thank you

@osamaesh, I removed the email link from your reply because (1) you’re not identified as a plugin author or support person and (2) you’re asking for off-forum contact.

If you do work for/with the plugin dev, please ask them to add you so you have the proper flags on your account when responding to plugin-related messages.

    Hi there,

I don’t usually use the word “crap” but after finding out the source of my problem and hours (days) of work wasted redirecting 404s, you can understand. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of this problem. I solved mine by deleting the plugin and the 45.000 broken links that were created in my site’s DB.

    Thanks anyway for the help!

Thanks steven for your note, osamaesh is one of our technical support team, and we will add his account as a plugin author.

    Dear onixfernando,
Thank you for your reply, i apologize for any inconvenience this may caused and appreciate your understanding.

As we told you, we just store the broken links inside the DB because it will be used in the premium version when the user decide to manage 404 errors, we will take your note into consideration, we would like to give you the premium version of our software for free? We always seek your satisfaction ??

here is our email [email protected]

thank you and waiting for your message

    Hi onixfernando,

    Hi Fakhri Alsadi,

Thanks for your interest in this matter. As I told you before I already solved the issue that was causing this problem. With my comment, I just wanted you to be aware of this.

    Thanks again

    thank you,
but you give us bad review ??
    this will affect our rank!
we will be happy if you change your review (the issue was only a miss-understanding)

    Thanks

    Hi Steven Stern @sterndata
this review is unfair, our plugin not generate 404 links, it just save it and the user can upgrade if he would like to manage this broken links!

    this review affects our continuity!

I’ve removed the “Report this topic” tag that was added. There is literally nothing here for you to report.

A person left a review making a claim. Someone replied. You replied. The reviewer replied. The End.

This is feedback from someone who used this plugin. This is not eBay, this is not Amazon. The review is feedback and you need to leave it at that.

If you are counting on these reviews for marketing or “conversion” then you are making a critical business failure mistake.

Ok, Thanks Jan for your note.

    Appreciated
