can’t close/cancel change form dialog

    When in Manage Database Fields and making edits to fields, and the “Changing the form element on a field that has stored data can result in data loss.” dialog opens, selecting “No” does not close the dialog. Only “yes” will dismiss the dialog.

    Using current version of Chrome on macbook

    This is most likely interference from another plugin preventing the cancel button from working. If you want to investigate further, you can try checking out the console in the browser developer tools, but there’s no guarantee you’ll get an answer there.

    You can abort out of changing the form element even if you click “OK” by making sure the field’s form element setting is the same before saving your fields. Or you can refresh the page and lose your changes. Either way, the form element won’t be changed and your data won’t be touched.
