Duplicate Content best practices?

    Hi, what are best practices for avoiding duplicate content penalties from google since the staging site is under the same parent domain? Google will see pages as duplicates. Any suggestions?

    Hi, first of all I think you very much for the compliment. WP Staging clone sites are not reachable to the Google Search crawler.
    Staging sites are behind authentication. Additionally to that the noindex meta tag is set into the head of the staging site. So Google will not index a staging site at all.
