    Hi everyone.
I am using this wonderful plugin on 2 raspberries at school where I work. This is tremendous using pictures, but I cope with a major problem with videos.
I edit them on final cut on .mp4 or .mov
When I create my slides, the path is relative, in order not to overcharge the network. The video appears in the lowest side of the slide settings, no problem (video+sound).
But on the display, videos do not appear, no sound, only a white page.
Wether on Chromium or Firefox, the problem is the same

    Any idea ?
Problem with the export of the video ?
    Missing library on pi ?

    Thanks for all

    Hi @jpdrouelle,

    Some troubleshooting suggestions ??
Have you tried previewing the display on your desktop computer? Click ‘view’ in the list of Displays. Does the video work? Have you tried opening the display URL on a different desktop computer? Does the video work?

Have you tried this test video? https://archive.org/24/items/WildlifeSampleVideo/Wildlife.mp4
Does it work on your desktop? And on the Pi?

MP4 with H.264 encoding should work on most browsers. MOV will most probably not work, maybe on desktop computers with special codecs / editing software installed. So I would stick to MP4 / H.264.

Hi, thank you for your answer.

When I call for the video directly in the browser, it works.
I’ll test the advices as soon as possible and I’ll tell you.
    Thanks

Thanks for your help. I finally found why it did not work. Explanations for those in need.

I tried your link but I didn’t work either. Since I’m behind a proxy, Internet was not reachable. I added proxy settings in wp-config.php file, so I could display the video you sent me.
It was not the reason why I could’nt display the videos.

Since I use FTp to transfer my videos, wordpress did not include them into the database so that it couldn’t display them. I installed the plugin “Add from server ” to do it.
Finally it works, all videos are displaying
Thanks you very much for your help and for Foyer
