    Hey there,

is there any possibility to disable the “add to homescreen” popup for some specific pages or for the whole website and open it manually over a custom link or button?

For example I don’t want it to popup on the checkout page… I would like to have more control. So if I could just add a class to my links or buttons on my website which should open the add to homescreen popup, that would be awesome! Is that possible?

  • Hey there,

Upon PWA you cannot restrict the Add to Homescreen prompt specifically for some pages at this time. An option will be rolled out on our next release to disable the prompt for the entire website. And moreover we’re also working on a feature to manually trigger the prompt and you can expect it over our coming version’s.

    Hi Jose,

thanks for your fast response. Sounds great! When do you plan to release the next version? I think a manual trigger for the prompt would be a real gamechanger and make lots of things easier.

I cannot share any ETA at this time, as we are working over it. A manual trigger option is also planned for future versions, before getting into it we need to fix some issues which we noticed.
