Slider configuration

  • Hi,
    On the slider is it possible to configure the learn more button so that it goes to another page rather than the post? The post only contains the information that shows on the slider so it doesn’t really allow the reader to ‘learn more’ if you know what I mean.

    I’ve worked around this by adding an image on the post pages with a link to the relevant content but from a UX it would be easier if there was 1 less click.

    Thank you for writing in,

    The slider button is not made for the external link, For this feature, you need to add new customizer slider option to replace the permalink with your custom link. So that it is currently not possible with the theme.

    That’s a shame. The workaround that I’ve used is adequate but it’s not the best user experience.
    Do you know if this feature is available in the Premium version of the theme?

    The premium version theme default slider also does not have such a feature to add an external link but we have revolution slider feature. You can add custom link button on the slider if you have uses the revolution slider.
