I’m getting this error when creating posts by email using POSTIE PLUGIN:

[17-Nov-2018 10:43:24 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_settings_error() in /home/username/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-fastest-cache/wpFastestCache.php on line 286

The cache had been cleared prior to creating the post.

I fixed the problem. Please delete wp fastest cache and download again to get the latest changes because I did not release a new version.

Had the same problem – seems to be VERY common. The fix suggested worked.
