Errors after server change

    My WordPress site was fine until I changed from GoDaddy server to Inmotion server. After migration the site will not load and I get the following errors :

    Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 466 in /home/cielph5/www.portfoliouk.com/wp-includes/option.php on line 466

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/cielph5/www.portfoliouk.com/wp-includes/option.php on line 473

    Here is the code on those lines :

    /**
    * Fires after an option has been added.
    *
    * @since 2.9.0
    *
    * @param string $option Name of the added option.
    * @param mixed $value Value of the option.
    */

    Idid not change anything during migration so if anyone can help I would be most grateful as I am very new to this !!

    It appears that the file may be corrupt.

    Download a fresh copy of wordpress from www.ads-software.com. Unzip locally and, via FTP, upload it over what’s there. You might also contact Inmotion support to see if they can do this for you.
