adding INDEX page to Pages Widget?

I’m curious how to get the HOME page showing up on a Page Widget for a website. Currently, only the two created pages are showing up. I would like the link to “Home” where all of the recent posts are shown to be there as well.

Or, do I need to create a page called “Home” and then insert some kind of code to load all of the posts into that new page?

I would think there has to be a method to get the index page to be listed as Home somehow…
