An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update

    Yoast fails with every update, so I have to manually updates it which is a real nuisance.

    When the update fails the site is HTTP 500 until I remove the broken setup and install it from a zip file and upload it by FTP

    This is not what any webmaster should have to put up with.

  • I was able to update mine yesterday smoothly via once click update. Maybe it has something to do with your hosting provider?

    I am using azure and I sent them a message via twitter but they have not got back to me yet
