Is it possible to charge users a small fee to list a “premium event”? Either through EM or an additional plugin alongside EM?

    I.e.
Free Basic Event Listing = Name, description, times and booking.
Premium Event Listing = (as above) + picture, html links, map and front page listing etc.

    Many thanks!

  • Hello,

You might be able to do it with other plugins that handles memberships. Other method is to create multiple user roles and limit the Output based on user roles. Both cases would require you to do some custom coding also, You might going to need to hire a Developer in case you’re not familiar with PHP, HTMML and CSS.

    Thanks for your reply!
I am already using specific user role accessibility to govern which user have access to the event posting options.

After hours of googling I think I found the answer in “Paypal IPN”, in conjunction with a custom form and some PHP.

There are many tutorials on how to do almost exactly what I need to do.

However, I can’t find an equivalent for STRIPE.

as Tim’s suggested above you can use other wp plugin to restrict contents of page or post such as https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/paid-member-subscriptions/ (haven’t tried this plugin yet)
