I am calling a Portfolio from a page using the PF code (Bracket Portfolio). I have 5 columns and up to 10 hits. In fact there is 5. Featured image does not display. Can I get the image? and how.

Setting the “thumbnail” size is important.

    Thx ??

    Hi there,

Are you able to share a link to your site?

If you don’t want to share it publicly yet that’s fine, but makes it a little harder to troubleshoot ??

I assume you’re using the Portfolio custom post type added by the Jetpack plugin, correct? Please go to WP-Admin ->Appearance ->Customize and click on Content Options. Under Featured Images there, is Display on Pages checked?

That setting affects the display of featured images of both the page itself, and of any posts or portfolio projects added to the page via a shortcode, so you need to have that option enabled for the portfolio project thumbnails to work.

    https://jetpack.com/support/content-options/

Also make sure your shortcode includes the argument image=true (though “true” is the default value for that shortcode if you don’t include the image argument, so that should not strictly be necessary).

    Thx Kokkieh

Status is my site is on the free plan at WP.com, so I cannot ad plugins. So no Jetpack
Plan is to port my WP to .org and run my own site. Im new to WP and I just realized the difference yesterday.

For now I build what I can under the free plan.

I added the image short code you posted above. No image still.

A few other issues. Review appears 5 times at bottom of post = number of PFs entered in shortcode

As that is a post, not a page, please check at My Site ->Customize ->Content Options whether the option to display featured images on single posts is enabled.
