Removing Yoast causes issue with CMP Coming Soon Plugin

Hello,

We use the free version of Yoast and it has been working normally alongside the coming soon plugin that we use: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/cmp-coming-soon-maintenance/

However, we have been trying to remove Yoast but when we do, this plugin fails to work correctly and the website is no longer protected by the CMP plugin.

1) How exactly can we remove Yoast entirely?
Note: We tried this –> https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/uninstall-yoast-seo-completely/

We also read and followed the steps: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-uninstall-my-plugin/

2) What could be the cause of this issue and another solution we could try or check if the issue still persists after full Yoast removal?
