Adding Shipping Option with Field

    I have a UPS shipping option installed. The calculator works fine, and although I did get that setup to work I feel like I have a very poor understanding of the shipping options/zones/setup in general.

    What I need is another shipping option that would allow people to select it, and then enter their UPS account number in a field. This would replace the other shipping selection as the amount would then be billed to their corp UPS account. I tried Free Shipping, but there was nowhere to ask or enter their acct number, and Free Shipping is the default option now, which I definitely don’t want.

    I suppose I could use a custom field and put in instructions to have them check the price with the calculator, then enter their account number in the field and then select free shipping, but I would really rather not unless I could at a minimum make sure the Free Shipping is not selected by default, and preferably has a note on it saying for UPS corp accounts only. I can’t find anything like this option anywhere, and I feel like it shouldn’t be that hard to implement.

    Hey there,

    You haven’t mentioned which UPS plugin you’re using, but I don’t know of a plugin that’ll allow customers to enter their UPS number. When using UPS, it’s usually the sender that determines the shipping rate.

    As for the shipping zones – can you please share a screenshot of how the zones are set up under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping?
