I don’t know if it’s related to recent updates of gutenberg or anything,… but now, whenever I want to add a tag and its value, I absolutely must save the page and reload the editor page to see it saved and in the tags list.

So I suggest, if possible, to add a “Add/edit” button that saves the tag and its value, then updates the tags list without having to reload the whole editor page.

Glad to help. You mention, “whenever I want to add a tag and its value”.. do you mean add a custom field? This plugin does not handle anything tag related (just to be on the same page). If that is the case, I will investigate and see if it is possible to add an “Add/Edit” button. Thank you for the feedback, maxlefou.

Yes, this is what I meant.

So far, in the plugin, you can add a new custom tag or use an existing custom tag and add a value to it, as expected. But, when you do this, there’s no way to make wordpress save the changes without saving the whole page.

So, my idea is to add a “save” button (kinda more close than what i meant) which saves the added/edited tag and its value, then adds another new line to add/edit another custom tag and its value.

Sorry for my bad english, i’m not english native, i’m not sure I wrote it right.

Actually, this plugin currently is not needed, because for now WordPress includes the Custom Field panel. You can enable it by visiting the Gutenberg options and selecting the checkbox to display custom fields.

I will keep this plugin going in case it ever is needed again, but for now please use the native Custom Fields panel for best results. Thank you.
